Traditional Entertainment - Grafton Street Hotels
A visit to Dublin would not be complete without experiencing some true Irish hospitality and hearing traditional Irish music. Drop in to The Blarney Inn at the Kildare Street Hotel and allow our resident musicians to get your evening off to a great start with foot-tapping traditional Irish music.
The instruments of traditional Irish music include combinations of tin whistle, fiddle, bodhran (a type of handheld drum), the button keyed accordion and guitar. The music is fast and lively and it’s hard to resist clapping your hands and stamping your feet.
Just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, our Irish Dancers take to the floor. Note of their upper body poise in contrast to the speed of their feet. The pace of the dances are very fast and yet if you join in you will find they are surprisingly easy to learn. Visitors to The Blarney Inn are always encouraged to try their hand a jig with our professional dancers.
After all that music and dance, you may be in need of refreshment. Taste a perfect pint of Guinness or ask the bar staff about some of our superb selection of Irish Whiskey. Alternatively why not come early and enjoy the pre-show supper? A hearty meal followed by lively entertainment.
Traditional Entertainment is staged at The Blarney Inn on Friday and Saturday evenings from 8.00pm all year around. During the summer season there are additional performances on Thursday and Sunday evenings.
